My name is Dezi and I started in the pet industry when I got my first dog, a Labrador Retriever named Bo. I was at the feed store when I ran into someone who said they needed a kennel attendant at a local boarding kennel and my life went to the dogs from there! I worked in boarding for several years as a kennel attendant, dog trainer and eventually facility manager. When I was offered the chance to learn to groom, I jumped on it. I fell in love with the art of grooming pretty quickly and eventually transitioned into full time grooming. Since then I have continued to learn as much as I can from other groomers, attending continuing education in both grooming and training. In 2021 I took the leap to open up my own mobile salon with the help of my friends and the support of my family. My goal for Swag Mobile Grooming is to offer a quiet, low stress environment for nervous dogs and use my dog training skill set to help dogs feel more comfortable with grooming.

In my spare time you can find me hiking, camping or otherwise adventuring with my pack of 4 dogs, a Rottweiler Mix named Zoe, a Labrador Retriever named Pip, a Belgian Malinois named Hex and a Silken Windhound named Elysian.
